  2. gregsmith1988 says:

    I shake

    1/2 ounce of tequila
    1/2 ounce vodka
    1/2 ounce gin
    1/2 ounce bacardi rum
    1/4 ounce countreau
    2 squeezed lime wedges
    1 squeezed lemon wedge

strain over ice and top with dash of coke

    Sells like hot cakes.

  3. bpcoxjr says:

If you add tequila it is no longer a Long Island Iced Tea, it is then what is known as an Electric Iced Tea or a Texas Tea.

  4. abkewl5 says:

If you don’t live in long island (i do) you don’t know how to “Properly” make it =p

  5. AColonDashSix says:

glad to hear someones doing it right

  6. silverginger86 says:

    go on then enlighten us…?
it was created in babylon, long island and maybe the original version is different, but the IBA’s official ingredients include tequila

  7. 0siris777 says:

yeah pretty much most long island iced teas iv seen have tequila in them as well, i agree with your recipe more than the video

  8. bigsalnytruckescorts says:

this bartender is horrible iwouldnt let him make me a drink if the world was coming to an end.

  9. ag2407 says:

that is such a cliche statement. i feel if the bartender knows how to make good drinks, they can pretty much get any drink right.

  10. Avarax169 says:

I prefer a Long Island Iced Tea without the tequila aswell and am glad to see someone actually doing it that way.
Also, there is absoluteley no need to shake a Long Island because the ingredients used combine very quickly if you give them just a slight stir, as none of them contains a large amount of sugar or cream. Cocktails are only shaken if the ingredients mix up rather slowly.
However, I do think that you should always use fresh lemon juice and not some premade mixer.

lol ,,,This clown is actually bragging about living in Long Island, NY. I have seen it all.

  12. scr3wg00gl3 says:

I believe you gotta shake all the ingredients up and also use tequila
    This will probably taste alright.

  13. mjlanger92 says:

yeah, he defff forgot tequila… its a preferance… but ANY bar u go to serves a long island as…
vodka, gin, rum, tequila, and triple sec… + sour and a dash of coke… im a bartender n ive never seen it w.o tequila, unless someone asks for that

  14. sasomajeric says:

A lot of places makes it without tequila couse it has a defined taste than can ruine the cocktail for a lot of people i worked in 4 bars and made it with and without depends on the recipe they choose

  15. GermainDupri says:

yep..i’d pour that right into his face…
    1. half ounce of each is not enough
    2. where the fuck is the tequilla

  16. 12danny21 says:

so would tequila be a good liquor to take out? im planning on making this for a party and most of the people there doesnt drink tequila.

  17. alxtn says:

    you’re retard

  18. cincitymenace says:

I’m a bartender and I have people ask me to leave tequilla out all the time, but this is a how to video on a site called “expert village” they should show you the exact way a drink is to be made and not be so lazy about it… the other guy they have on this site with the douche bag gotee and tattoos is worse tho lol

  19. fabryzyo17 says:

  20. ELLAfizz says:

i love how this guy talks, the way he says “vodka” is just mint.

  21. mat76zet says:

expert?? village..is that some bad joke.
haven’t seen one drink/cocktail done right by expert village yet.

  22. glennr1978 says:

you guys are funny. anyone who has been in the bar business long enough knows that drink recipes will vary (somewhat) depending on where you’re at. btw, the reason he’s only pouring 1/2 oz is because it’s illegal to serve a drink in tx that contains more than 2oz of liqour.

cabbagepulley got it “right”, when using teq. it’s called a “tx tea”. atleast around here that’s what it is.

  23. stjarnfrukt says:

    it’s too fast! can’t keep up …

  24. thebladesman says:

  25. patrick233151 says:
