    you’re supposed to mix it up…to make it look like a regular “ice tea”. She would have pretty much drank straight alcohol in that 2nd sip. Plus it should be done in a larger glass with 30ml shots not 10ml shots…. and it is the type of drink you drink slowly!!! lol

    Yeah. That looks nothing like the drink. it’s supposed to look like an ice tea. Add more booze! it was created during prohibition when people wanted to walk down the street drinking pure booze but it looked like ice tea.

    if you served that to me, I’d refuse it, def the single worst long island i ever saw, pure crap, and in Soho House ffs, fire that dude…….

    i think im starting to realize all the shitty bartenders are on youtube… if thats the Italian way of making a long island i think ill stay rite here in the US for awhile that was horrible

    LIT’s are my fav. drink and I’ve made quite a few of them. Instead of dismissing this recipe without trying it, I went ahead and made it. I thought the balance was a little off so I doubled the lemon/simple syrup. The resulting flavor was one of the best I’ve had though the color was darker than usual. I did roll the drink so the cola and alch. was mixed. The fresh ingredients beat sour mix hands down.
